Seventh Step

So the security errors are gone, yay!

We are going to bring them back. During this step, we are going to browse around through the website and look for problems and make sure all of the links work.

We are going to go back to Cloudflare to turn back ON the proxy settings that we turned OFF while the setup was happening. This will break the connections to Google Sites and short.io, and we will need to add them back again.

It will take 1-2 days for your site to come back online, so this should be done an off-peak time. Your Analytics page can confirm this for you, but that is probably during the middle of the week.

The website won't be completely down though, since while this is happening, we're going to make some tweaks in your short.io account to make it easier for people to find you, and we will set your naked domain to forward to a backup copy of your website that we will keep up and running. While this is not a completely necessary step, it will help teach you how to use some of these systems better and work around problems in the future.  

We're also going to use Cloudflare to set up email forwarding so that you can have essentially unlimited free email forwarding addresses like anything@Werk.Baby. Note that this will not give you an outgoing email address at your new domain.
